Strep Throat Symptoms

In most cases of strep throat infection, a skin rash develops and starts spreading around the neck and chest areas.

Eventually over the whole body. Strep throat is usually not caused by coughing,sneezing and common cold symptoms. Common symptoms of a sore throat, that is caused by a viral infection and can be treated bye antibiotics.

Here are the symptoms:

* Sudden sore throat without coughing, sneezing, or other cold symptoms.
* Difficulty with swallowing(severe pain).
* Fever over 101° F
* Swollen lymph nodes in the neck.
* White and yellow spots, or coating on the throat and tonsils.
* Bright red throat or dark red spots on the roof of the mouth near the throat.
