Obama is sending more troops Afghanistan

President Obama is sending an extra 17,000 troops to boost its deployment in Afghanistan. A written statement has announced by the president stating that he would send at least two more combat brigades to Afghanistan, where our soldiers are facing high violence and deadly attacks on Sunday. (Marine Expeditionary Brigade & Army Stryker Brigade) Obama’s plan is to take about 7,000 troops out of Iraq and focus on growing threat from Afghanistan.

*12,000 are expected to be developed by this spring and the other 5,000 at a later date.
*A military official said that the troop increase is expected to last 3 to 4 years
