burn-dvd.jpgIf you want to reuse a CD-RW disc that has files previously “burned” (written) on it, you can erase the contents of the CD-RW disc by inserting the disc into the CD burner, just right-clicking the drive in the Navigation pane, and then clicking Erase disc. (Note that erasing is required before you can burn to a CD-RW disc again.) However, you cannot reuse or erase the contents of a CD-R disc that was previously burned, regardless of how much space was originally left unused.
