Jailbreaking is a type of hack that lets you install unapproved third-party applications on your iPhone or iPod Touch from searchable repositories provided by apps like Cydia and Icy. Next, update your iPhone to the latest firmware when you’re prompted to do so (click “Download and Install” on the pop-up message). Allow the new firmware to install as you would normally. This will un-jailbreak your phone for the time being.
* Get the jailbreak tool: To get started with the newest jailbreak, Windows users should head to http://blackra1n.com. and click on the window icon at the bottom of the page to download the executable.
* Run blackra1n: After the download is complete, connect your iPhone to your PC and run the executable. Click the “make it ra1n” button and the message will display “entering recovery…” (Vista and Windows 7 users should run it in compatibility mode and as “Administrator.” Right-click on the file, go to Properties, then click the “Compatibility” tab. Check the “run this program in compatibility mode for:” checkbox and choose Windows XP Service Pack 2 from the list provided. Click “OK” to close the window. However, be aware that the blackra1n jailbreak is still a little iffy for some users. Several people have reported that they’re unable to jailbreak, despite following instructions. If you’re not feeling adventurous, you may want to wait for the Dev Team’s jailbreak instead. Unfortunately, Mac Users Have to Wait there is no jailbreak yet available for 3.1.2 just yet. Add a Data Plan
1- Add a data plan by going to t-mobile.com and signing into your online account at mytmobile. Then in the upper right hand corner where it says Hello ( Your Name), click on where it says ” not your phone?”. Change this to a windows mobile devicesuch as a T-mobile wing, t-mobile dash, or t-mobile mda .Then go to My Account and select change services there should be a data plan you can choose. This takes 2-48 hours to activate.
Configure Settings
2- To setup your t-mobile internet follow these steps ( note some settings may be different if your iphone software is different).
#From the Main Menu, select Settings, General Settings, Network, EDGE.
* Note: In the 2.0 software version and above, EDGE is called Cellular Data Network.
#From the APN field, enter internet2.voicestream.com..(if that does’t work try wap.voicestream.com or epc.tmobile.com)
#Leave the Username and Password fields blank.
#Exit to the main menu.
#From the Main Menu, select Settings, General Settings, Network.
#Verify that Data Roaming is set to On or Enabled.

I suppose something like Bloglines would have helped me here, but I could never trust I would find the article I read earlier in the day when it came time to blog. Getting everything onto this laptop has helped organize and energize all of my computer endeavors, which are many.

*-Instructors will frequently make comments like, “This is an important concept.” Or, “Make sure you understand this.” These are direct clues that this will more than likely be on an exam. Highlighting these notes will help remind you later that this is definitely something you need to know.
*-Start each new lecture on a new page, and date and number each page. The sequence of material is important.
*-Make your notes as brief as possible. “Never use a sentence when you can use a phrase, or a phrase when you can use a word.
(Develop a system of abbreviations and symbols you can use wherever possible).
*-Note all unfamiliar vocabulary or concepts you don’t understand. This reminds you to look them up later.

Did that iPOD of yours keep freezing?! If your iPod is frozen or won’t turn on, it may be because iPod is paused or the Hold switch is in the locked into it’s position. If that’s the case then a lock symbol appears on the screen. Slide the Hold switch to the unlocked position and check the screen. If that’s not the case then follow these steps:

1-Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2-Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

3- If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod because it’s not cooperating, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.

*If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn’t set to go to sleep.

Why Can’t I Play the Disc I Burned in my CD Player

Step 1
Lay the box facedown atop gift wrap, leaving paper attached to roll. Cut paper along one side, yielding a wide enough sheet to cover both sides of the box.
Step 2
While standing on the same side of the table as the roll, pull paper tautly up and over the far end of the box. Adhere with double-sided tape, and crease paper along the box’s edge with thumb and forefinger.
Step 3
Unroll paper and bring it to meet the already wrapped end. Cut paper from roll, leaving an inch of overhang. Fold that inch under and crease along the fold. Adhere using double-sided tape.
Step 4
Now it’s time to tackle one of the open ends of the box: Push sides of paper inward, creating four 45-degree-angle flaps, then crease along flaps.
Step 5
Fold down top flap. Crease sharply along the top of box, then crease again where paper meets the bottom edge of box. Cut paper along that bottom crease. Adhere to the box.
Step 6
Fold under any excess paper on the bottom flap so that it lines up perfectly with the top of box. Apply double-sided tape to the bottom flap, then fold it over top flap and adhere.
Step 7
Repeat steps 4 through 6 on the box’s remaining open end. Finish all sides by running your pinched thumb and forefinger along edges to create sharp lines.
Step 8
Lay the wrapped box facedown on a length of ribbon (about five times as long as box). Pull ends of ribbon up and bring right end over the left. Pull widthwise so they cross.
Step 9
Turn the box over. You should have two ribbon ends of about the same length. Thread each end under the ribbon already in place.
Step 10
Double-knot the ribbon, then tie into a simple bow. Use your fingers to shape the loops.
Step 11
Pinch the ribbon ends lengthwise and cut at a 45-degree angle to create forked ends, as shown. That’s it all wrapped up!
Step 12
